The only reason why they are making a sink is for money.

Where does it stop with the censorship? Pretty soon, saying just ANYTHING to anyone will be deemed as "offensive". The people in this country have gotten so thin skinned it's sickening.

The world's gone mad, Gary. My mother used to quote "Sticks and stones will break my bones ... but words will never hurt me." But she also said "The pen is mightier than the sword." Covering bases, I suppose.

In 15 years' time it may be "in" again to call people of small stature "midgets" ... But it might be wrong to call homosexuals "gay" ... they'd rather be "fags" or "poofs". Why not? Just words.

It's the tone of voice that counts.

Wasn't it Gore Vidal who wrote a book and he substituted, for curse words, the names of judges on the US Supreme Court? And it was filthy!

You know, Gary, we couldn't even write Shakespeare or the King James Version of the Bible in 2009 without offending a crowd of daft idiots.

Interesting... My daughter used to be a member of LPA, but didn't really think it did anything for her. Although she is an achondroplastic dwarf, she's never thought of herself as any different from anyone.

But others who don't know her will still stop and stare. I doubt we'll ever change the public's curiosity about differences. But having self-confidence is the key!
