Rett's Syndrome and Caroline's Cause

My writing friend Tim Elhajj is undertaking a post-a-day blogging marathon to chronicle the daily life of his niece, Caroline. Caroline has Rett's Syndrome, a neurodevelopmental disorder.

A person can tell from Tim's work that he admires the grace with which his brother's family approaches Caroline's disability, a fact made evident in his first post which reports on Caroline's visit to a dentist. There's another lesson to be found in the first post too, one not so much about disability only but rather about how the world might be a better place if we all approached each other with a little generosity.

Thanks so much for linking to us, Gary! I think you're exaclty right. A little generosity and good humor is always a good lesson. In that resepct, you're just what the doctor ordered. Thanks for promoting our post-a-day marathon and helping to raise awareness about Rett!
