So, what do you think about George Carlin? I suppose a person need be of a certain age to compose an intelligent answer. Aficionados of music-as-rap-metal-or-techno, thumb-wielding txtrs, and tweets-as-conversation are excused.
Once done with 7 Dirty Words, it came to me, a semi-sophisticate pretender who arrived on the first wave of the baby boom, that Mr. Carlin was the court jester for that shake-’em-up group who jumped astraddle American culture in the 1960s and began to strangle the I-Like-Ike out of Ward Cleaver.
