Thanks for posting this. I really like McGinley on Scrubs, and I didn't know this about his life. People with Down's Syndrome have always been in my world. When I was a preschooler, my mom took me along some days to her special education classroom. I remember being amazed by these kids who were unreservedly loving. Not unable to feel frustration and so on, but open in a unique way. I appreciate the way McGinley described his perspective, and I wish him the best with his campaign.
