Seven Wheelchairs: An Excerpt


Not every publishing venue appreciates excerpts, at least in my experience over the last few months. I sometimes feel they're regarded in the same way as reprints.

But that sort of thing doesn't keep a stubborn person from banging head-against-wall.

Chapter Three of my memoir was excerpted for reprint
in Wordgathering, which is produced by members of the Inglis House Poetry Workshop.

It's a poetry publication. What I know about poetry begins and almost ends with Ogden Nash's ode to "Fleas" ...
